Consultations are by appointment and can be booked in person at reception, over the telephone or online via the link at the top of this page.
For urgent medical conditions appointments will be offered on the same day. The doctors at the practice have asked their reception staff to ask patients for a brief description of why they wish to be seen, this will help both the receptionists and the doctors to help you get to the correct service if required.
For non-urgent conditions, appointments will be given within 7 day with the first available doctor. Whilst we will always try to give you an appointment with your doctor of choice please understand that this is not always possible.
We will endeavour to see all patients within 30 minutes of their appointment. If we are unable to do this, an explanation will be given on request.
Consultations are for 10 minutes duration, if you think you might need longer please let the reception staff know.
Routine Appointments can now be booked online with My Health Online - you will need to be registered for access to this service. Appointment availability has now been increased and everyone has the same access online to the receptionists.
Patients requiring advice only may ring our dedicated GP advice line between 10.00 & 11.00 where our on-call doctor will be available for advice. Please listen carefully to the options to be put through to a GP.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
