Shielding Patients

****UPDATE 9.6.2020****

The Government have announced further updates to the current Shielding Scheme which has now been extended to August 16th 2020.

If you have previously received a letter then you will be receiving a further letter from Public Health Wales & Welsh Government after the 15th June 2020.

Patients who have not previously received a Shielding Letter will not be receiving any further correspondence.

If you have received a Shielding Letter there are a number of resources that are available to help you whilst you are shielding 12 weeks from 24.3.2020 (this is the confirmed date that the 12 weeks began even if you have only just received your letter).  This may be subject to change in accordance with Welsh Government and Public Health.

Access to the Surgery

The surgery is currently providing a Green (clean) Zone and Red (Covid-19) Zone with in the practice.  Our patients are fully screened before being able to attend the surgery by either our Nursing or Clinical Staff.

All our patients will be seen within the Green Zone and all our clinical staff will be in full PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) so please do not be alarmed when you see one of our Nursing/Clinical Staff, this is to not only protect you but everyone else at the practice.

Any patients with COVID-19 symptoms that are unwell are seen in our Red Zone and you will be asked to not enter the building and to wait in the car until the GP arrives to escort you into the building.
